About Our Staff
Rebecca Lambert, LAT ATC, CPT
Founder, Owner
Rebecca grew up in Vero Beach, Florida, where she spent most of her time outdoors enjoying the beach, and the many water sports Florida has to offer. She moved to Arizona to attend Grand Canyon University where she earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Athletic Training. She began working as a personal trainer in 2019 at Mountainside Fitness, where she later developed a stretch-training program for the personal training department across all locations. This combination of education and experience in both the medical and fitness industries is what led to the creation of BodyWork in 2022, with the goal of making high-quality injury care accessible to everyone.
In addition to her work at BodyWork, she works with the medical staff for USA BMX at both racing and freestyle events, including national events across the country and the World Championship in 2024. She also provides medical coverage for local youth sports organizations, including Arcadia Lacrosse, Phoenix Rising FC Youth Academy and Real Salt Lake FC Youth Academy.

Lucas Manzanares, LAT ATC
Lucas comes from a small town in Northern New Mexico where he grew up playing sports and enjoying all things outdoors. He played baseball through high school until he suffered from a career ending back injury that left him distraught and seemingly hopeless. In searching for a way to remain involved in sports, Lucas discovered the field of sports medicine and redirected his focus towards helping athletes recover from injuries to return to the activities they love. Lucas pursued a career in Athletic Training where he graduated Summa Cum Laude from Grand Canyon University's program.
During his career, Lucas spent time with the Milwaukee Brewers' Dominican affiliate, providing athletic training services for various national sporting events, and educating the community of health and wellness information. Additionally, Lucas works with a group of orthopedic specialists where his services extend to a local high school in Chandler, AZ. Here, he has established an athletic training facility and has created a sports medicine course to inspire future students in the same way he was inspired.
